To provide more opportunities to excellent students of our university to study abroad, we specially forward the London School of Economics and Political Science 2017 summer credits related information. Details of the project are as follows:

1. The project brief
The London School of Economics and Political Science is well-known in the political and business community, focusing on social science. The London School of Economics and Political Science has always been known as "the world's leading social science education and research institutions", and its level of research in social science, such as economics, law, which is unique in the UK. The London School of Economics and Political Science has been known as the "British G5 University Group" with the University of Oxford, Cambridge University, the Imperial College London and the University College London and, and it is also the British Golden Triangle and Russell University Group member. "Guardian" has once commented that the reputation of the London School of Economics and Politics, University of London, Imperial College of Technology is beyond comparison except Oxford and Cambridge. Until 2012, there have been 16 Nobel laureates, 42 governments or heads of state, 31 British House of Commons and 42 members of the House of Lords among the alumni and teachers of School of The London School of Economics and Political Science

The project selected 8 professionals, more than 70 courses, taught by the school teacher personally. The course lasts about 4 hours and is about 18 hours a week. The first week is a language course, after three weeks is a professional course. The school is in the center of London, the school is comfortable, transportation is convenient, and extracurricular activities are exceptionally rich, in addition to play local attractions in London, there are opportunities to travel to the town near London. Students who completed the project, the school will issue a transcript, for credit conversion. The eight courses offered by the summer of 2016 are: Accounting, Law, Economics Finance, English Language Business & Management, International Relations, Government & Society Culture and Environment. Every year the professional hardly changes. If you want to know about the latest course list, please consult at the time of registration. Summer courses are available to full-time students and international students at the same time, so they have some academic difficulty.

2. The project time
July 24, 2017 to August 18

3. The selection criteria
1. Our school full-time undergraduate or graduate students;

2. Moral and intellectual all-round development, excellent academic performance
3. GPA: B + or 3.3 / 4.0;
4. TOEFL is not less than 90 points or IELTS not less than 6 points or CET-4 or CET-6 not less than 470 points. Those who do not have the above grades are required to undergo an English test.

4. The project costs: lb 4800.

Project costs include: project application fee, tuition, accommodation, materials, international postage, visa fees (only the first visa), overseas insurance.
The project fee does not include: international round-trip air tickets, extracurricular activities tickets and fares, meals, textbooks, personal living expenses, shopping expenses and other costs not included in the project fee.
If the student does not need to take an English intensive course, the course fee will be refunded to the student, about lb 600.

5. The application method

6. School procedures

Note: "send semester" please select "2017 summer", "dispatch period" please fill out "4 weeks".
2. Download and fill out the "Xiamen University Student Exit and Outbound Exchange Application Form" (Annex 3) and the "Xiamen University Overseas Exchange Project Consent" (Annex 4), and submit the paper version to Teacher Lai in Office 809 of the main building before May 5.

3. Based on previous experience, some colleges would subsidize some students, so students can consult the College. If you are sure that the college will subsidize you, please be sure to contact your college secretary of foreign affairs as soon as possible before proceeding.

8. Important tips

1. If you do not have the passport, please pass your passport as soon as possible. Students who have passports must check that the validity period of the passport must be after December 31, 2017.

2. You can only choose one summer vacation project during the same period, please do a good job planning.
3. The project is the agent of a project of the Global Xiangfei Education Group, and forwarded by the International Cooperation and Exchange Office.
