April 6, 2021 marks Xiamen University’s centenary celebration. Since the release of the 1^st and 2^nd Announcements of XMU’s Centenary Celebration, XMU faculty, students, alumni at home and abroad, and friends from all walks of life have been eagerly concerned and supported the momentous event. We express sincere gratitude and high respect to all of them.

Participate the grand event and seek common development. In order to overcome the impact of the COVID-19 and achieve widespread participation, XMU set 2021 as the “School Anniversary Year” and April 3 to April 9 2021 as the “School Anniversary Week”.  A series of simple, grand and colorful activities will be held on the premise of doing a good job in the normalization of the epidemic prevention and control. We warmly welcome and look forward to the active participation of all the alumni and guests from all walks of life.

During the School Anniversary Week”, XMU will organize the celebration meeting, gala, Jiageng Forum, World University Presidents Forum, and International Forum on Humanities and Social Sciences in the form of a combination of online and offline. From 07:30-22:30 on April 6, Xiamen Radio and Television Station will broadcast the celebration activities live, and the media platform operated by XMU will also broadcast live simultaneously.

The celebration is approaching. All the alumni, guests and friends are sincerely invited to scan the QR code to make an appointment to participate in the centenary celebration. The result of the appointment will be notified by SMS or email. If you’re not convenient to come to XMU, you can participate the grand occasion through the website of Xiamen University’s Centenary Celebration:http://100.xmu.edu.cn. All the alumni, guests and friends are welcome and encouraged to joining us in the celebration in batches at different time in the School Anniversary Year. We will continue to carry out various forms of celebration activities and do our best to provide reception services. If the epidemic situation and the requirements of prevention and control change, XMU will promptly inform the related celebration activities.
