On March 5th, in order to do a good job in the alumni work and to celebrate the centenary anniversary of Xiamen University, He Yuanzan, the Secretary of the Party Committee of the International College, and Gao Xing, the Office Director visited Longhai Zhengyuan Chemical Co., Ltd. Mr. Huang Xiaoze, the General Manager of the company, an alumnus of the International College in 2006, and Mr. Wu Chunlei, an alumnus of our college in 2007, had a discussion with the delegation of International College and accompanied their visit.
During the discussion, Huang introduced the development history and main products of the company. Longhai Zhengyuan Chemical Co., Ltd. was established in November 2002. At present, the company has its own industrial land of 13,000 square meters, 4 storage tank areas with a total storage volume of 19 tanks of about 1,500 cubic meters, a 4-story solid sodium hydroxide warehouse of about 2,500 square meters, and an independent office complex of about 650 square meters. Now it has formed an annual sales scale of 40,000 tons of sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid each, with a storage capacity of 800 tons each, as well as a variety of chemical products such as nitric acid and liquid alkali. Customers of the company are located in Xiamen, Zhangzhou, Chaoshan，Jieyang Guangdong, and other regions. Huang Xiaoze expressed his gratitude to XMU, saying that the relationship with teachers and classmates of the university are worth cherishing for a lifetime. In the future, he will continue to care and support the college and mobilize more alumni to contribute to the development of the school and college. Wu Chunlei introduced the operation of Dan Yan Ba Pin Tea Co., Ltd., the company he founded, and warmly invited the teachers of the college to visit Wuyi Mountain.
He Yuanzan, the Secretary of the Party Committee expressed his gratitude to the alumni for their warm reception, and highly praised the long-term self-improvement, spirit of forge ahead, brave innovation, and continuous development and growth of the alumni’s enterprises. He also expressed his appreciation for alumni’s enthusiastic alumni work and active participation in the college alumni association and organization of Alumni football matches and other activities. The alumni are welcome to return to XMU to celebrate the centenary celebration on the occasion. Director Gao Xing introduced the recent alumni work of the college and the preparations for the centenary celebration and expressed sincere gratitude to the alumni for their strong support to the college alumni work.
After the discussion, the leaders of the college, accompanied by alumnus Huang Xiaoze, visited the filling workshop, comprehensive office building, and storage park of the company.
